Manchester City to bid for Firmino

Sport Bild has learned that Manchester City are readying a mega money offer for Hoffenheim hotshot Roberto Firmino.

Having failed to lift a single trophy this season, the Citizens aim to spend heavily in the summer transfer window and they appear in the market for attacking reinforcements seeing as both Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic are linked with summer exits.

According to Sport Bild, Manchester City are ready to offer around €25 million for Bundesliga star Roberto Firmino.

The 23-year-old has set the Germany’s elite division alight with his performances over the last couple of years and it is perfectly clear he will be leaving at the end of the season.

And while Manchester United also appear to be showing interest, their local rivals seem to be leading the chase at the moment.

Roberto Firmino managed 6 goals and 9 assists in 32 league outings this term, while also bagging two goals in his first four Brazil caps.
