Manchester City will make a bid for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, according to The Athletic. The report has claimed that the treble winners will make an official rice for the England international midfielder, as Premier League rivals Arsenal are still struggling to agree terms with West Ham over the 24-year-old.
West Ham reportedly want £100 million in transfer fees for Rice, but London rivals Arsenal do not want to pay it. This has opened the door for City to make their move. Pep Guardiola’s side won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League last season.
Rice made 36 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for West Ham last season. The England international midfielder scored four goals and gave two assists in those games. The 24-year-old also helped the Hammers to the UEFA Europa Conference League last season.
