Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are interested in signing Aymeric Laporte from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror. The report has claimed that City are now willing to sell Laporte after signing fellow centre-back Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig, and that Premier League rivals Arsenal, Tottenham and Villa are keen on him.
City would prefer to sell Laporte to a foreign club and want £30 million in transfer fees for the Spain international central defender. That is a bargain fee for a player who has won the Premier League title five times and the UEFA Champions League once and is at the top of his game at the moment.
Pep Guardiola’s City won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League last season and will be determined to do it all over again this campaign. City, though, will face stiff competition from Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool for the title this season.
