Manchester City want Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey

Manchester City are interested in signing Jacob Ramsey from Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. It has been reported that the defending Premier League champions have been following Ramsey’s progress and have been hugely impressed with him.

TBR has claimed that Chelsea looked at a potential deal for Ramsey last summer and are still interested in the midfielder. Arsenal are also admirers of the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who is valued at £50 million by his club Villa, who are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season as well as progress to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Ramsey came through Villa’s youth system and has established himself in the first team. The 23-year-old has scored three goals and provided four assists in 32 matches in all competitions for the Villans so far this season. The young attacking midfielder scored one goal and gave two assists in 21 appearances in the 2023-24 campaign.
