According to a recent report from Eurosport, Manchester City are set to pursue a move for Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix this summer.
The belief is that this move could become a reality in the event that City fails to sign either Harry Kane or Erling Haaland in the next few months. In that instance, Felix could jump to the front of the priority list, although there’s also a decent chance Pep Guardiola will want to make him one of their primary targets anyway.
Felix, 21, has been pinpointed as a star for the future for a long time now but if he’s going to really fulfill that potential, he needs to start stepping up his game on a consistent basis.
La Liga is a competitive place to be but when analysing the top leagues across Europe, it’s clear to see the Premier League would do wonders for his continued development.
