Manchester City want Haaland

According to a recent report from the Mirror, Manchester City are eyeing up a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

They want to try and get a deal over the finish line before his release clause kicks in, but given the inevitable competition that will come with trying to secure his signature, that may be a tough thing to accomplish.

City are easily one of the most exciting teams in world football right now and they are clearly leading the way in the Premier League title race, but one thing they seem to be missing at this moment in time is a natural goalscorer – in the absence of Sergio Aguero, that is.

Haaland could well be the answer to all of their problems but in such uncertain times, you have to question what kind of money they’d have to pay in order to get Haaland over to the Etihad.
