Manchester City want Kane

According to a recent report from Sport, Manchester City are hoping to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane in a £150 million deal this summer.

The belief is that Kane is committed to the idea of leaving Spurs during the upcoming summer transfer window and when you take one look at the state of the club right now, it’s not hard to see or understand why. They’ve been on a decent run of form in the last month or so but that came crashing down in the loss to Arsenal which, in all honesty, exposed the flaws that still rest within the squad.

Jose Mourinho is at the heart of those problems and regardless of whether or not you want to stick by him, this Kane news has to be seen as alarming.

This almost certainly wouldn’t be a popular idea but Kane is someone who wants to pursue trophies, and he deserves to do so too.
