Manchester City are interested in signing Raphinha from Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to TMW journalist Gianluigi Longari. The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed on Twitter that City have joined Manchester United and Liverpool in the race for the 24-year-old.
According to Longari, Leeds do not want to sell Raphinha this summer and want to keep hold of the Brazilian winger. The 24-year-old moved to the Whites from Rennes in the summer of 2020 and has been superb for the West Yorkshire club. According to WhoScored, the winger has made 23 starts and three substitute appearances in the league for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season, scoring six goals and providing six assists in the process.

Leeds have done well in the Premier League this season, but City are a massive club and are on the verge of winning the title this season. A huge offer from the Citizens could be tempting for Raphinha and Leeds.
