According to a recent report from The Times, Manchester City have drawn up a four-man shortlist as they pursue a new striker this summer.
As Sergio Aguero prepares to leave the Etihad once and for all, the Premier League champions are ready to dip back into the market during the summer transfer window. Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Lautaro Martinez and Andre Silva are all considered to be possible long-term replacements for the outgoing Argentine, and we’re pretty sure the club has the resources necessary to sign any of them.
City are on the verge of becoming European champions and if they keep up this current trajectory, world champions wouldn’t be too far behind. With that being said, Pep Guardiola will only select the best of the best, which is why the transfer window is going to be so congested and fascinating in the next couple of months – right alongside the Euros and Olympics, too.
