Manchester City are interested in signing Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024, according to 90min. The report has claimed that City, who won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup last season, wanted to sign Kimmich in the summer of 2023 and remain keen on the 28-year-old.
Kimmich is one of the best players in the world and is very versatile as well. The Germany international can operate as a defensive midfielder, right-back or centre-back. Kimmich has won the Bundesliga title eight times, the DFB-Pokal on three occasions and the UEFA Champions League once.
The 28-year-old has given three assists in seven Bundesliga matches and has provided one assist in two UEFA Champions League games for Bayern so far this season. Last season, Kimmich scored five goals and provided six assists in 32 Bundesliga starts and scored one goal and gave three assists in nine UEFA Champions League games.
