Manchester United and Manchester City are both ready to pursue RB Salzburg sensation Erling Braut Haaland, according to Mirror.
Haaland’s superb burst of form this season, during which he has scored 18 goals in 11 games so far, and such an output has understandably drawn interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool. But it seems the two Manchester clubs aren’t willing to let such a player go elsewhere without at least trying to bring him in.
But it’s City who actually feel they have a better chance of making the 19-year-old striker a part of their team, with manager Pep Guardiola apparently considering the son of Alf-Inge Haaland a potential long-term successor to City’s goal-machine Sergio Aguero.
On the other hand, it was United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who gave Haaland his first-team debut with Molde, and the youngster has praised the effect his compatriot has had on his career so far.
