L’Eco di Bergamo newspaper has learned that England’s top clubs have joined the race for Atalanta youngster Franck Kessie.
The Ivorian has set the Serie A alight with his performances this season, resulting in interest from Juventus, Napoli, AC Milan and Inter Milan.
However, it did not take long for foreign clubs to be alerted of the midfielder’s potential and L’Eco di Bergamo reports quite a few scouts were in the stands at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia as Atalanta played host to Palermo.
The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Sevilla all had their representatives present as Kessie was unable to prevent Orobici from losing to struggling Palermo.
The 19-year-old has spent every minute on the pitch in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign, scoring four goals in five outings for Atalanta, and it will not be long before he joins a top European club if he continues the rich vein of form.
