Manchester rivals locked in battle for Antonio Rudiger

Reports from Portugal media outlet Abola have caught up on a rumour linking AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger with a move to the Premier League.

The Germany international has been going from strength to strength since his move to Italy from Stuttgart back in 2015 and his impressive rise to prominence has alarmed the host of Europe’s top clubs.

If latest reports are to be believed, Manchester rivals United and City have both cast the eye on the 23-year-old as Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola turn to AS Roma defender to solve their problems at the back.

Rudiger is believed to be scouted by the Premier League clubs with a summer move already mooted in the press.

Giallorossi are aware of the increased interest for their first-team member who is unlikely to go cheap as Roma expect to demand a transfer fee believed to be in the region of £30 million.
