Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City are involved in a tug of war for Palmeiras striker Gabriel Jesus, according to O Globo.
The Citizens had the upper hand as they offered €32 million for the 19-year-old footballer, but the latest reports suggest Jose Mourinho has informed the Brazilian club the Red Devils will offer €38 million.
It would appear as though both Manchester rivals are eager to secure Jesus’ signature in the summer transfer window, which is great news for Palmeiras, who are obviously looking to sell to the highest bidder.
Despite his fragile age, the youngster has already shown a great deal of potential, making 54 league appearances and scoring 19 goals.
Gabriel Jesus also bagged four goals in five Copa Libertadores matches to prove he can perform under pressure as well, and it seems he has already done enough to secure a lucrative move to English Premier League.
