Manchester United are eyeing a January move for Real Madrid defender Pepe, according to Talksport.
The Portugal international is in the final year of his current deal with the La Liga giants and is yet to put pen to paper on an extension despite signaling an intention that he would like to remain at the Bernabeu.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the thirty-three year old and now the Red Devils, who are managed by former Real boss Jose Mourinho, have thrown their hat in the ring.
Pepe moved to the Spanish capital from Porto in the summer of 2007 and has since racked up three hundred and twenty-four appearances in all competitions, scoring fourteen goals.
He has won a whole host of major honours including two Champions League titles, two La Liga titles and two Spanish cups while he helped his country clinch the European Championships in the summer.
