Competition: Premier League
Market: Man Utd to win against Liverpool
Odds: 19/20 @ Ladbrokes

Manchester United face fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford this weekend, with the hosts favourites to pick up all three points to maintain the pressure on Premier League leaders and rivals Manchester City. However, with the two opponents locked on points, Liverpool could also cut the gap to City if they win on Saturday and other results go in their favour.

Manchester United are enjoying a decent start to the season, winning two and drawing one of their opening four matches. They did most recently suffer defeat in the league to Swansea City, but have shown real signs that will give supporters confidence of keeping up with the early pacesetters. The Red Devils haven’t been too full of goals in Louis van Gaal’s second season, but boast a wide array of attacking talent that should eventually bear fruit.

Liverpool have also had a good season early on, with the Reds locked on points with their rivals. The Merseysiders recently saw their unbeaten start come to an end against West Ham United, but have already taken seven points off Stoke City, Bournemouth and Arsenal. Manager Brendan Rodgers is starting to find the winning formula with the Reds, and they’ll be full of confidence of winning at Old Trafford. Nevertheless, United have been solid on home soil this season, so they could well come out on top.
