Manchester United welcome Everton to Old Trafford this afternoon, and are hoping to come out on top to boost their fledgling chances of a top-four finish. The Red Devils came out on top against the Toffees earlier in the season, and they need a similar outcome to stand a chance of bringing Champions League football back next season.

United are currently 6th in the Premier League table with 50 points from 30 games this campaign, Louis van Gaal’s side are in good form, having won three of their last four, and on home soil they are looking formidable too. Four wins from five at Old Trafford sees United in good shape to dispatch of an Everton side struggling for consistency.

Everton are 12th in the Premier League with 38 points from 29 games, and have suffered defeat in three of their last four. The Merseysiders do fare better away from home, but they have drawn more games on the road than winning. They suffered defeat to Manchester United back in October, and William Hill are giving odds of 1/1 for the Red Devils to repeat the feat.
