Competition: FA Cup
Market: Man Utd to win against Sheff Utd
Odds: 1/3 @ William Hill

Manchester United host Sheffield United in the FA Cup third round today, and are hoping they can continue their upturn in form with victory over the League One side to prolong their stay in a winnable competition.

Manager Louis van Gaal is set to make changes to his starting eleven but won’t underestimate his opposition either. He wants his Red Devils side to run deep in the FA Cup to make up for their toils in the Premier League this season, so there will be enough experience in today’s squad to get a result at Old Trafford.

It’s been 12 years since Manchester United last won the competition, and they have made just one FA Cup final since their 2004 triumph over Millwall. Sheffield United will be a tricky opposition today, however. The Blades are in fine form, and have breeze through the first two round without conceding a goal.

As a result, Manchester United are sure to be met with some resistance in the early stages, but William Hill are backing the Red Devils with odds of 1/3 to see past Sheffield United at Old Trafford today.
