Manchester United travel to Upton Park to face West Ham United in the Premier League in a farewell to the stadium. It’s the last time the Hammers will ever be playing at the Boleyn Ground, but recent form could see the Red Devils playing party poopers in their pursuit for a top-four finish.
Louis van Gaal’s side are fifth in the Premier League with 63 points from 36 games, and are coming off the back of three wins and a draw from their last four. Currently just two points behind fourth-placed Manchester City with a game in hand, United’s Champions League hopes are in their own hands, and the Hammers’ poor form could see them coming out on top.
Slaven Bilic’s men are two places and four points worse off than Manchester United in the Premier League, but have failed to win four of their last six, and were most recently humiliated at home to Swansea. They are fighting to finish in a Europa League spot, but the Red Devils have won at Upton Park in the FA Cup only last month so they’re in the driving seat.
