Competition: EFL Cup
Market: Man Utd to win against Southampton
Odds: 3/4 @ Bet 365

Manchester United and Southampton lock horns at Wembley Stadium in the EFL Cup final this afternoon, in a game that could see United come out on top given their superior form and quality of squad. The Red Devils are enjoying a winning streak in all competitions, while Southampton have endured a run of defeats ahead of today’s meeting.

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side are favourites to win the EFL Cup final, with five consecutive wins under their belt prior to the trip to Wembley this afternoon. The Red Devils are seven places better off in the Premier League table than Southampton, who have a depleted backline after losing their first-choice central defence partnership.

Claude Puel’s Southampton side have lost three of their last four games in all competitions, conceding 10 goals for their troubles. However, the Saints are immediately coming off of a win in their previous outing so they will go into this afternoon’s final with confidence.

Nevertheless, they lost to United in their last league meeting back in August, and Bet 365 are giving odds of 3/4 for Manchester United to win against Southampton in 90 minutes today.
