Manchester United and Chelsea have shown interest in Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The promising midfielder is considering his options and could decide to leave Camp Nou this summer.
Thiago is reportedly keen on a move to Chelsea, but the Blues are not the only team interested in the Spain U21international.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is also tracking the highly regarded midfielder and has sent scouts to watch him in action at the U21 Euro in Denmark.
After Paul Scholes retired from football, the Scottsman is on the look out for a defensive midfielder and Thiago is one of the players being considered, the other one being Rennes’ Yann M’Vila.
