Marcus Rashford was left out of the starting XI when Manchester United faced Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, and came on from the bench to replace Joshua Zirkzee for the last half an hour of the contest which ended in a goalless draw.
Pundit Jamie Redknapp commented on Ten Hag’s decision as Rashford being dropped, indicating that the England international himself was to blame for losing his place in the lineup. However, the United boss responded fiercely after the match, labeling Redknapp as “a person not OK” for putting out such “speculation”.
Ten Hag is adamant that he trusts Rashford, and that the only reason for him not starting the game was the need for the squad to be rotated.
“I would say you are as a person not okay when you bring such speculation!”😡
