Manchester United are interested in signing Ederson from Atalanta in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. The report has claimed that United are considering making a bid for Ederson after struggling to do a deal for Manuel Ugarte.
United are keen on signing Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, but the Premier League club are unable to strike a deal with Ligue 1 giants PSG. So, Erik ten Hag’s side are considering going back in for Ederson.
Ederson has been on the books of Atalanta since 2022 when he joined from Salernitana. The 25-year-old Brazil international has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in Serie A. He scored six goals and gave one assist in 32 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A and scored one goal in 11 starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League last season.
