According to a recent report from Manchester Evening News, Manchester United’s interest in West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has cooled – despite them being linked with another bid for the Hammers star.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is clearly determined to strengthen their side towards the end of the campaign, with Lyon forward Moussa Dembele being at the top of their wishlist. With that being the case, making a priority out of going after Rice isn’t something that they’re really contemplating right now.
The COVID-19 pandemic has ensured that there is some uncertainty surrounding whether or not the summer transfer window will even be open for business, with a plethora of leagues around the world struggling to figure out what to do with their seasons. Either way, it appears as if United are going to be as active as they possibly can be whenever the window does open, which is a positive boost for their fans at the very least.
