Manchester United could offer new deal to Nemanja Matic

Nemanja Matic’s season has been so interesting and intriguing. The Manchester United defensive midfielder was one of those few players many Man United fans and pundits could see leave Old Trafford at the end of the current season, as he was not playing well, had a couple of injury issues, was in his final year of the contract and was seemingly out of favour in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. But things have drastically changed since.

Matic’s form is far better now than then, he is healthy now and for the past few months, he has been one of the best Manchester United players, without a doubt. That has made everyone at Old Trafford rethink their views on the Serbia international. He has been a real rock in midfield and a new offer could very well be on his table.

At least according to Manchester Evening News, who believe Matic could be offered a new contract. Matic is set to become a free agent this coming summer and the Devils have an option to automatically extend his current contract for another year.
