This summer transfer window is expected to be a big one for Manchester United. After signing three new players last summer and adding Bruno Fernandes to the list this winter, it seems like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is getting a lot of recognition for wantin these four players. Also, it seems like Ed Woodward might be ready to further back the Norwegian manager in the upcoming transfer window. The squad still needs a lot of improvements and for that they might have to get some money in first.
According to the Sun, they might try to raise some cash through departures of Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira. Their report suggests Manchester United that the midfield duo might be on the move elsewhere, as Solskjaer looks to plan for next season. Lingard has not been playing well for over a year now and Pereira was unable to prove everyone wrong that he could grow into an important player for the Red Devils.
Lingard has a contract with Man United until 2022, while Pereira has a contract until the summer of 2023.
