Fulham are interested in signing Scott McTominay from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. The report has claimed that Fulham had an initial offer for McTominay turned down, and that United are now expecting the Cottagers to make a new and improved offer for the 27-year-old midfielder.
McTominay has been on the books of United since 2002 and has established himself in the first team after coming through the club’s youth system. The Scotland international midfielder scored seven goals and gave one assist in 18 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Erik ten Hag’s side last season.
The 27-year-old also made four starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League for United last season. He scored one goal and gave one assist in those games. McTominay made five starts and one substitute appearance in the FA Cup last season as well, scoring two goals in the process.
