Manchester United eye Borussia Dortmund defender Dan-Axel Zagadou

Manchester United are interested in signing Dan-Axel Zagadou from Borussia Dortmund, according to Calciomercato. It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that the Premier League giants are preparing a move for the 21-year-old French central defender.

Zagadou has been on the books of Dortmund since the summer of 2017 when he joined on a free transfer after leaving French giants Paris Saint-Germain. According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old has made 10 starts and five substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Dortmund so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process. The France Under-21 international has also made three starts and two substitute appearances in the Champion League this campaign, according to WhoScored.

United are 14th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from seven matches. The Red Devils are at the top of Champions League Group H with six points from three matches.
