Manchester United are interested in signing Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the summer of 2023, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Red Devils will need to sign a new striker for next season and beyond, and that they have identified Toney as a potential target.
Toney has been superb for Brentford over the years, both in the Championship and in the Premier League. The 26-year-old English striker has scored six goals and provided two assists in nine Premier League appearances for the Bees so far this season. In 2020-21, the striker scored 12 goals and provided five assists in the league.
Manchester United are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 15 points from eight matches, nine points behind leaders Arsenal. Meanwhile, Brentford currently find themselves 11th in the league table with 10 points from nine games.
