Manchester United have been linked with a move for Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen, according to the Mirror.
The twenty-six year old was one of the stand out performers for Wales at this summer’s European Championships as Chris Coleman’s side beat the odds to reach the semi-finals.
However, Reds’ manager Jurrgen Klopp is willing to listen to offers for the midfielder, who signed from Swansea City in the summer of 2012.
The Welsh outfit have also expressed an interest to re-sign Allen, who played one hundred and fifty times for the Swans before moving on.
He has been capped thirty-one times for his country while he was also part of the Great Britain squad that participated at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
Jose Mourinho, who was named as United’s new manager this season has already been busy in the transfer market and is also considering a move for West Ham United starlet Reece Oxford.
