Manchester United eyeing Jan Oblak

Premier League giants Manchester United are hot on the trail of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, according to AS.

The Red Devils are in the market for a new shot stopper seeing as David De Gea is widely expected to join Real Madrid.

And while the Red Devils are close tor reaching an agreement with los Blancos, they will not allow the Spaniard to leave before his replacement arrives.

AS understands that Manchester United hope to recruit Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid, and the player is ready to move provided los Colchoneros accept an offer from England.

The Slovenian goalkeeper only joined Atletico last summer from Benfica, and he needed a while to prove his worth at Vicente Calderon.

Oblak, 22, went on to produce some memorable performances in the second part of the season, proving why he is regarded as one of Europe’s most talented keepers at the moment.
