Manchester United eyeing Rose bid

Manchester United are ready to make a £40m move for Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose, according to the Mail Online.

The Red Devils have long been linked with a move for the England international and could bid for him when the transfer window reopens in January.

They could also piece together an offer that may see fellow left-back Luke Shaw move in the operation, with the former Southampton man completely out of favour under Jose Mourinho.

Rose has made just one Premier League appearance so far this season having missed the start of the campaign through injury.

In total he has played for Spurs one hundred and forty-seven times in all competitions, scoring ten goals while internationally he won his fourteenth England cap in last week’s 0-0 draw with Brazil.

Both Tottenham and United play their penultimate Champions League group games this week, traveling to Borussia Dortmund and Basel respectively.
