The Telegraph has suggested that Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul.
The Netherlands international continues to be linked with a big club move, and it would appear as though the Red Devils have moved to the front of queue.
Namely, with back-up keeper Anders Lindegaard admitting that he wanted to leave in search of first team football, Manchester United are in the market for a new shot-stopper who would provide competition for David De Gea.
It is hardly surprising the Red Devils are showing interest in Krul, who has developed into one of league’s top goalkeepers during his time at St James’ Park.
The 26-year-old began his professional career at Newcastle and went on to make 126 Premier League appearances.
The Magpies are still searching for the first win of the new Premiership campaign and they are 1/1 to end the barren run against Hull.
