According to a recent report from Le 10 Sport, Manchester United are looking towards Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Idrissa Gueye as a potential target heading into the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old had previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford prior to leaving Everton last summer, with the Red Devils being more than willing to renew their interest as the current window approaches.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is well aware of the challenges that he’s bound to face between now and the new season getting underway, and if he wants to guide the club towards another top four push, he needs to balance the side out with some defensive reinforcements.
However, if they can also introduce some stability in the middle of the park, that could also help them substantially – but there are still some aspects of the summer window that are clearly up in the air given the uncertainty surrounding the world right now.
