Manchester United go after Kante

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Manchester United have put forward a bid for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.

The summer transfer window is fast approaching and with so little time left for United to make an impact, many fans want to see some kind of calming presence of structure at Old Trafford. Nobody really knows what kind of season they’re going to have as a club but if you take one look at their first few performances during the new campaign, the signs aren’t great.

Chelsea are prepared to let Kante go for the right kind of offer and after spending so much money this summer, it’s hardly surprising.

Kante is the sort of midfielder that can bring stability to just about any midfield in world football – or, at least, that’s the reputation that follows him around.

A deal of this magnitude may not be able to go through on such short notice, but United are definitely desperate.
