Manchester United have bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund

Manchester United are determined to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have made a bid of £51.4 million for the striker. United’s offer is worth £42.8 million plus an additional £8.6m.

Italian club Atalanta do not want to sell Hojlund at that price and want more money for the 20-year-old. The report has claimed that talks between the Serie A outfit and Premier League club United are still going on. The Red Devils are optimistic that they will be able to get a deal done.

Hojlund made 20 starts and 12 substitute appearances in Serie A for Atalanta last season. The 20-year-old Danish striker scored nine goals and gave two assists in those games. Manchester United will play in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing in the top four of the Premier League table last campaign.
