According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Manchester United are keeping an eye on Juventus star Douglas Costa as the summer transfer window continues.
The Brazilian has been with the Old Lady for the last three years after previously spending time at Shakhtar Donetsk and Bayern Munich. The belief is that Manchester United’s recruitment team have been following Costa very closely throughout the course of the season, and with the days ticking by until the start of the new campaign, they’ll want to start getting some more bodies in at Old Trafford.
United are now out of the UEFA Europa League after their loss to Sevilla last night, with the hope from many fans being that they can now focus their attention on the transfer market.
The Red Devils need to bring in some reinforcements ahead of the new campaign, especially if they’re serious about competing at a high level in Europe and domestically.
