With the ongoing transfer saga surrounding Manchester United left back Luke Shaw, manager Jose Mourinho has been turning his attention to various potential replacements, the latest of whom is young Argentinian star Enzo Diaz of Club Agropecuario Argentino, according to the Metro.
The situation regarding Shaw and his difficult relationship with Mourinho has been dominated by rumours of an irreparable rift between the two men, serious enough that the pair reportedly won’t speak to one another. This goes a long way to explain why the England fullback is yet to play a single minute in the Premier League or Champions League for Manchester United this season, and why the club are so desperate to sign a replacement.
20-year old Enzo Diaz meanwhile recently helped Club Agropecuario Argentino, based near Buenos Aires, to reach the Argentinian second division for the first time, and his exploits have caught the eye of United’s scouts. The defender would join fellow countrymen Marcus Rojo and Sergio Romero if he were to make the move to Manchester.
