Manchester United are interested in signing Gleison Bremer from Juventus this summer, according to Calciomercato.
Bremer is one of the most vital parts of the team under the command of Massimiliano Allegri, having started all 24 Serie A matches this season so far, and being substituted only once, six minutes before the end. In fact, the only game the 26-year-old centre-back has missed was the round-of-16 thrashing of Salernitana in the Coppa Italia, but then he returned to play the full 90 minutes in the quarterfinal victory over Frosinone. With Juventus not playing in Europe, his total is therefore 25 appearances, with two goals to his name.
Juventus’ position on the matter is that there are no players they wouldn’t be willing to sell for the right price if the player wants the move, but also that no player is actually for sale. Therefore, any suitor would have to be willing to pay a hefty fee, which in Bremer’s case amounts to at least €70 million, given that his contract doesn’t expire before the summer of 2028.
