The report has claimed that Chelsea are also interested in the right wing-back, but it is Premier League rivals United who are leading the race for the Morocco international.
PSG have decided that they will sell Hakimi in the summer transfer window if they get a good offer. United, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, are ready to make a move for the former Inter Milan star.
Hakimi has made 21 starts and five substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for PSG this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the process. The 24-year-old also made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League for the French club this campaign, providing two assists in the process.
