The 27-year-old Santos attacking midfielder Lucas Lima has long been tipped to make a move to Europe and it seems that January would be his time to shine at the brightest stage.
Lima’s agent Luccas Badia has revealed in an interview with Turkish newspaper Haberturk that his protegee is targeted by a number of European clubs.
One of the most notable names on the list, he claims, are Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho is said to be a huge admirer of the player who is slowly reaching his peak and is said to outgrown the Brazilian football.
A move to Europe is the next logical step for Lima who looks to step up his game and prove himself at the brightest stage and now it seems as if the Red Devils are willing to present him with a chance of a lifetime.
United appear to be keen to land the Santos star in January.
Crystal Palace and Fenerbahce already attempted to grab Lima but their respective offers worth €15 and €20 million were insufficient to make Santos let their key asset leave.
