Manchester United join race for Brahimi

Daily Express is reporting that Manchester United are considering a summer bid for FC Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi.

The Algerian footballer has had a brilliant start to his career in Portugal and it appears he won’t be staying at Estadio do Dragao for much longer.

Some impressive performances in Primeira Liga and Champions League have seen the 25-year-old catch the eye of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Arsenal, while the latest reports suggest Manchester United are keen as well.

The Red Devils have followed Brahimi’s latest performances closely and they could come forward with an official bid in the summer.

The attacking midfielder, who managed 10 goals and 8 assists already this season, has a €30 million release clause in his contract.

His suitors Manchester United face League One side Preston North End in the FA Cup fifth round clash tomorrow evening and they are 1/2 to win in ninety minutes.
