AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in the Italian football over the last couple of months, with clubs lining up behind the 18-year-old who is touted to become the next Gianluigi Buffon.
The talented shot-stopper has been going from strength to strength ever since he was given a full first-time debut last season at AC Milan and has been an ever-present for his side this season.
A string of fine performances has helped Donnarumma enhance his growing reputation and big clubs have begun to take notice and ask around for the availability of the player who is now free to sign a professional deal with Rossoneri.
Still, the likes of Juventus and most recently Manchester United are hoping to lure the prizes asset away from the city of Milano as the Italian media reveal today that the Premier League boss Jose Mourinho has already held talks with Donnarumma’s agent Mino Raiola to discuss the potential €50 million for the teenager.
Donnarumma is regarded as a younger and improved version of David de Gea.
