It is little secret that Jose Mourinho isn’t happy with Manchester United’s attacking line, and reports suggest that he is looking for the final piece to the offensive puzzle that will unlock his side’s potential going forward. The man who could be exactly the right shaped puzzle piece is none other than Bordeaux forward Malcom, according to the Metro.
The Brazilian only recently made the move to France from Corinthians, but he has already impressed with his skill and eye for goal. With seven goals and four assists in 15 Ligue 1 appearances, Malcom is almost single-handedly preventing his side from slipping any further down the table. Bordeaux currently sit 15th, two points above the drop zone.
United meanwhile have been struggling for a creative presence with Paul Pogba missing time through injury and suspension, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s form seemingly dropping off a cliff. The Armenian may well end up leaving Old Trafford come the end of the season, so it is little surprise that Mourinho is already in the market for a replacement.
