Manchester United are lining up a £50m summer bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to the Daily Star.
The Red Devils were linked with a move for the England international last summer, after he had scored an impressive twenty-one league goals for the North London club.
Despite a slow start to this campaign, Kane looks back to his best with seven strikes in his last seven league outings and United manager Louis van Gaal is ready to renew his interest as he looks to add more firepower to his goal-shy side.
Saturday’s 0-0 draw with West Ham United was the fifth time in nine games where the Manchester side have failed to score, and a result that left them in fourth place in the division – three points behind shock leaders Leicester City.
They are now 11/2 third favourites to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2013.
