Manchester United linked with AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie

Manchester United are interested in signing AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie next summer, according to Calciomercato. It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that United have identified Kessie as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba.

Pogba is out of contract at United at the end of the season, and talks over a new deal between the France international midfielder’s representatives and the Red Devils are going on. However, United are making plans in case Pogba leaves, and Kessie is one of the players on their shortlist.

Kessie has established himself as an important player for Milan and is one of the better midfielders in Serie A. The 24-year-old Ivory Coast international midfielder has made two appearances in Serie A and one appearance in the Champions League so far this season.
