Manchester United are interested in signing Bayern Munich forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in the summer of 2023, according to 90min. Cristiano Ronaldo is out of contract at United at the end of the season, and if the Portugal international leaves Old Trafford, then the Red Devils could make a move for Choupo-Moting.
Choupo-Moting has been on the books of Bayern since 2020 when he moved to the German club after leaving Paris Saint-Germain. The 33-year-old forward is out of contract at the defending Bundesliga champions at the end of the season. He won the Ligue 1 title twice with Paris Saint-Germain and has clinched the Bundesliga title twice with Bayern so far.
The forward has made three starts and four substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayern so far this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the process. Choupo-Moting has also made two starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Bayern so far this campaign, scoring three goals in the process.
