Manchester United are interested in signing Leon Goretzka from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2025, according to Fichajes. The report has noted that Goretzka’s role for Bayern under manager Vincent Kompany has diminished, and that United are keen on securing his services.
Goretzka has been on the books of Bayern since 2018 when he joined from Schalke. The Germany international midfielder has won the Bundesliga give times, the UEFA Champions League once, and the DFB-Pokal twice with Bayern so far in his career.
The 29-year-old midfielder has played one minute in the Bundesliga and has scored one goal in two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Bayern so far this season. During the 2023-24 campaign, Goretzka scored six goals and gave seven assists in 25 starts in the Bundesliga and gave one assist in nine starts in the UEFA Champions League for the Bavarian giants. Bayern are aiming to win the Bundesliga title this season.
