Manchester United are readying a move for West Ham United full-back Aaron Creswell, according to the Mirror.
The twenty-five year old has emerged as a target for Louis van Gaal’s side, who are looking to strengthen in that area following Luke Shaw’s potentially season-ending injury.
Manchester City had been linked with a move for the former Ipswich Town man, who only moved to Upton Park in the summer of 2014.
Since arriving at the East London club, Creswell has racked up fifty-one appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and was voted their Players’ Player of the Year last season.
He was also selected as Ipswich’s Player of the Year in 2012, and was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year at the end of the 2013/14.
Manchester United face Ipswich in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday evening, and are priced at 2/9 for the win.
