Manchester United linked with Edmond Tapsoba

Manchester United are interested in signing Edmond Tapsoba from Bayer Leverkusen in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are looking for a new defender, and that the 24-year-old is on their radar.

Tapsoba is one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga and is one of the first names on the Bayer teamsheet. The 24-year-old Burkino Faso international defender has been on the books of Bayer since 2020 and has made over 100 appearances in the Bundeslliga. Tapsoba has also played 35 times for Burkino Faso.

Manchester United are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from eight matches, five points behind Liverpool in fourth. Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen currently find themselves at the top of the Bundesliga table with 19 points from seven matches, a point clear of second-placed VfB Stuttgart.
